Anthony J. Recckio oral history, 1967-1968.

In this interview, Mr. Recckio discusses growing sugar beets on muck soil. Topics include: his use of Mexican migrant labor to thin and weed beets; problems he experienced negotiating tare weight with Empire State Sugar Company; changes in his cultural practices; and his assessment of how sugar beets compare to other crops he grew.
